Statement of support

Students, staff and alumni can receive early-stage and start-up business support from the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan), from pre-conception though to the first three years of trading.

Support is provided through a University initiative called ‘Propeller’, part of which is assisted through an ERDF (European Regional Development Fund) project called ‘U Start’.

These projects provide mentoring programmes, skills and knowledge workshops, networking events, rentable workspace, online learning materials and enterprise awards.
