We are based within the Media Factory, which is part of the University of Central Lancashire. If you are meeting with a business based within the Propeller Hub, make a note of the meeting space. We have ‘pods’ and ‘media booths’ for meetings. If you are able to tell us where you are supposed to be meeting, we can help direct you more efficiently.

Propeller is part of UCLan, aimed at supporting students, staff members and alumni in entrepreneurial activity. We nurture an enterprising community, with a network across the University and beyond. Several local businesses are based within the Propeller Hub, as well as a range of hot-desk clients who come and go more regularly. We offer workshops focused on the beginning of the start-up journey, as well as 1-1 appointments with our business mentors. Local businesses can also benefit from our services through the Centre for SME Development, a fellow UCLan Business project.

The UCLan Propeller service receives partial funding from the ERDF U Start project, which is running in partnership with Lancaster University.
