Want to know what’s going on in the area around you? Philanthropist and social entrepreneur Russell Hogarth is well-known in the local community and likes to keep up-to-date with all things business. After 25 years of running successful businesses, Russell now focuses on community projects such as the One in Four mental health film festival and the Comensus programme which involves service users, carers and the wider community in the training and development of health and social care students.
Each talk will be focused on a current trend or problem facing local businesses, through Russ’s unique perspective, followed by a Q&A session.
The bite-sized briefing lasts around 1.5 hours. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
This bite-sized briefing is partially funded by the U Start project to support students, graduates and university staff to unlock their entrepreneurial potential and become enterprise ready.
