Online Security Essentials for Business
There’s increasing publicity about protecting ourselves online but what about our businesses? Louisa Murphy from the Lancashire Constabulary’s Digital Investigations Unit will explain how to spot and protect against some of the most common online threats to businesses, including: online fraud, basic information management security, phishing and Information theft, as well as how to protect your business on social media.
This is a joint promotion with the Centre for SME Development.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER:
Louisa Murphy is the Digital Investigations & Intelligence Learning & Development Co-ordinator for the Lancashire Constabulary. Louisa ensures that officers within the constabulary are familiar with digital forms of policing, as well as delivering to schools colleges, universities and community groups about staying safe online. She also works with micro, small and medium businesses to teach them how to spot common online threats and protect against them. The Digital Investigations Unit covers many aspects of online crime from phishing and identity theft to cyber bullying and catfishing.
This event includes a buffet (with vegetarian choice) and gives you the opportunity to network with like-minded people in an informal and relaxed atmosphere.
